Custom-Made Greece

06/5/18

So, you decided to spend your summer vacation in Greece, now what?! There are so many island and places your friends recommended, your favorite blogs wrote about, or photos you’ve seen that made you want to pack up and leave for the airport instantly.

Greece’s vacation inventory is simply huge, and the dilemmas are real – whether to go to a remote island or a close one? take a direct flight or a combo of a flight and a sail? The dilemma is even bigger when your try to book a vacation for a larger group, like a big family, a group of friends or coworkers, trying to find the perfect place that will fit everyone.

So what’s best – a hotel, a villa or an apartment? Close to the sea or with a pool?

I found myself making these choices so many times, spending so much energy and time searching, while daydreaming of the vacation fairy to come and just make the perfect choice for me! Recently I found such a fairy, and her name is Tova.

After long careers in hi-tech and education, Tova and her husband Aryeh decided to provide solutions to all those people who lack the time, knowledge or ability to create their own perfect vacation. Their business, Easy Tours, was founded 21 years ago. They don’t settle on just offering well-known place that are already on the web. They search for their own unique spots, travel there and meet the hosts, and usually become good friends with them. Their choices are the result of a personal connection and a positive experience they had themselves.

They go to every single place they recommend and examine it thoroughly – from the view seen through the window to the quality of the towels. They know the area and the attractions around it, restaurants, shops and everything else.

They can recommend private villas or family-run hotels that are suitable for large groups.

Here are some special sites from Tova and Aryeh’s list:

A family villa in a peacefull village in Rethymno district, Crete. The old house, located in a natural setting, was renovated with a great respect to the old style and tradition. The villa and the guest units are built from stone with wooden ceiling. The villa includes a swimming pool, and terrace overlooking a breathtaking view. Episkopi beach, which has a lovely tavern, is just a 10 minute drive away.

Or, take a modern, comfortable villa in a different Cretan village with a tremendous view, a private pool surrounded by a wooden deck, a rich garden with trees and roses. The villa has shaded areas, a view of the sea, an equipped kitchen, a spacious dining room, a large living room, terraces, barbecue area and more. A local taverna, supermarket and lovely walking trails are all a walking distance from the villa.

What else? Well, for the lovers of sea sports, Tova and Aryeh recommend villas in Rhodes, where you can enjoy windsurfing, diving and sailing.

The four villas are independent and as close to the sea as you can get. A short walk on a trail and you’re at a magical beach, in a peaceful area with exciting landscapes. The beautiful villas each have 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms, an equipped kitchen, a lawn and a private pool. The location is ideal – close to a supermarket, cafes, taverns and medical service.

On the Easy Tours website you will find recommendations for accommodation in Rhodes, Crete, Corfu, Paros, Pelion and more.

Truly unique places that can answer a variety of demands, because the perfect vacation starts with choosing the perfect place for your budget and style.
