They offer something that combines all of these essential substances of a good time – a culinary vacation for four days in the most beautiful place in Rhodes. The culinary studio has been around for three years, and a special collaboration has been created by the entrepreneur and host Avihai Fahima and Chef Idan Yakir, who is in charge of the culinary side. Together they host foodies in their beautiful rural studio in the Galilee, and produce private and business concept meals.

For Avihai, the island of Rhodes is an important destination in the last five years, switching between business and leisure trips. When he came up with the idea of a Greek food workshop, Rhodes was the natural choice. He describes the process that brought him to this:”After five years in Rhodes, which was like a second home for me, I realized how many Israelis miss the real Rhodes, Rhodes of the culinary, Rhodes of the really good and simple life and more than all the people who make Rhodes more special than all the Greek islands.” 

What is included in the culinary vacation? 

A delicious breakfast each day, interesting tours to lesser known destinations around the island, the very best tavernas, and visits to the homes of local producers. For example, you will get to participate in a bread making workshop, baked in the a special wood oven, or visit a house where they make honey in traditional methods, enjoy a meal in the house of a ‘hippy’ Greek that cooks seasonal, fresh food. And that’s not all! You will get a chance to visit boutique wineries, participate in cheese-making at a small goat farm, prepare Malakoni – a Greek sweet made of sesame and honey, experience olive oil production and more..  

Every evening there will be a different cooking workshop, also by a local cook, finshing with a dinner together and lots of ouzo. In addition, a private yacht day cruise to the islands around Rhodes.
